 Puppy Kindergarten

This puppy class is suitable for all breeds of puppies 10 to 20 weeks old.

Topics for discussion will include common puppy issues such as house training, nipping, and jumping.  Basic obedience commands will be introduced, and emphasis will be placed on socialization and temperament training.  Our goal is to help you create a strong and loving bond with your puppy built on mutual respect and trust.  Positive training methods are the focus of our class and will encourage your dog to want to work with you.  They do not stay puppies forever, so let's have fun and enjoy this special time with your dog.

 Basic Family Manners

Dogs of all breeds who are 5 months and older are welcomed.  This class is the next step for puppy kindergarten graduates, dogs without formal obedience training, or older dogs who need to brush up on their basic skills.

This class will focus on the basic obedience commands necessary to have a well mannered dog in your family.  Once basic commands are introduced we will practice them at increasingly difficult levels so your dog will comply with your requests even in high distracting environments.  Commands will be taught using positive, reward based training methods.
